本次專題演講邀請泰國 Mahidol University Faculty of Physical Therapy Wanalee Klomjai 副教授蒞校演講，分享經顱電刺激(Transcranial Electrical Stimulation, tES)之基本原理、研究發展與臨床應用。 Wanalee Klomjai 副教授長期投入非侵入性腦刺激、神經調控、神經復健，以及動作與認知功能等相關研究，並具急性中風及前庭復健之臨床物理治療經驗。

【講題】Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (tES): From Brain Modulation to Clinical Applications

【演講摘要】

Transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) is a non-invasive neuromodulation technique that uses weak electrical currents to modulate brain activity. In recent years, tES has gained increasing attention across psychology and rehabilitation due to its potential applications in motor function, cognition, and psychological function. This lecture will introduce the principles of tES, including commonly used techniques such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS). Its underlying mechanisms and stimulation parameters that can influence its effects, such as electrode placement, stimulation intensity, and duration, will be presented. Evidence regarding the clinical applications of tES, including motor rehabilitation, cognitive function, and neurological and psychological conditions, will also be presented. Finally, the lecture will cover the translation of tES from experimental research into clinical practice, including treatment protocols, safety, individual variability, and the current limitations of the evidence.
